KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Southern Oregon University's Abi Stevens and Eastern Oregon University's Justin Krabbenhoft earned the champion titles at the 2025 Cascade Collegiate Conference Multi Events Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, on Friday afternoon at Oregon Tech.
 
Stevens led through seven disciplines to conclude with 4995 points to take the top spot on the national performance list. The Southern Oregon senior finished ahead of runner up, Eastern Oregon senior Adrienne Washington by 224 points.
 
Stevens continued strong on day two, finishing first in the long jump with a distance of 5.67m and in the 800m with a time of 2:22.79 while taking third in the javelin with a mark of 30.06m.
 
Washington secured second with 4771 points to take second on the NAIA leaderboard. She finished first in the javelin (36.85m), second in the long jump (5.39m), and third in the 800m (2:29.56).
 
Mattie Shirts of College of Idaho finished in third place with 4209 points, improving her previous score by 174. She earned second in the 800m with a time of 2:26.11 while placing fourth in the long jump (4.94m) and javelin (28.58m).
 
In the decathlon, Krabbenhoft led through 10 disciplines to conclude with 6623 points, a six point improvement from his previous score. The Eastern Oregon senior finished 480 points ahead of teammate Tyler Jones.
 
Krabbenhoft continued to dominate day two, finishing first in the 110m hurdles (15.60), pole vault (4.30m), and javelin (45.12m). He placed fifth in the discus (29.89m) and eighth in the 1500m (5:20.08).
 
Teammate Tyler Jones secured second place with 6143 points. He finished second in the discus (34.54m), third in the 110m hurdles (16.70), sixth in the pole vault (3.50m) and javelin (36.01m), while completing the championship with a seventh place time in the 1500m (5:19.67).
 
Coleton Urquhart of Southern Oregon tallied 6019 points to land in third place for the second consecutive year with a 121 point improvement from last season. On day two he finished first in the discus (37.63m), second in the 1500m (4:49.30), fourth in the 110m hurdles (16.77) and javelin (42.24m) while holding eighth place in the pole vault (3.30m).
 
The top three finishers earned All-CCC honors and the top eight accumulated points that go towards their teams' totals at the final meet, which will take place on May 9-10 at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon.
