KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Eli Stevens of Oregon Tech has been named the NAIA Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week. He was selected based on his performances from March 23-30 and was chosen from a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Stevens, a junior from Medford, Ore., had a successful weekend at the Pacific Multi-Event Meet. He finished first out of 20 athletes in the Decathlon with a personal best score of 6668 to reach an NAIA “A” Standard which currently ranks at the top of the NAIA this season.
Next up, the Owls are back in action this weekend at the Jenn Boyman Invitational.
