2025 CCC Baseball Postseason Awards Announced

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2025 Cascade Collegiate Conference baseball postseason awards were announced Thursday by the conference office.
 
Tyler Horner of (RV) Oregon Tech earned the Player of the Year for the second straight year. No. 24-ranked University of British Columbia’s Will Anderson, (RV) Lewis-Clark State College’s Jadon Williamsonand Oregon Tech’s Tim Williams were all named Co-Pitchers of the Year. British Columbia’s head coach Chris Pritchett was named the Coach of the Year. Corban University received the Team Sportsmanship Award.
   
Horner, a senior catcher from Twin Falls, Idaho, had a fantastic final season for OIT. He is heading into the postseason leading the conference with a .419 batting average and .780 slugging percentage. He also tops the CCC in on base percentage (.521) and doubles (20) while ranking second in hits (78) and RBIs (63). Horner helped Oregon Tech complete conference play with a 27-10 record to clinch the third seed in postseason.
 
Williamson (2.47), Anderson (2.87), and Williams (3.14), all hold the lowest earned run averages in the CCC.
Williamson has been dominant on the mound, holding opponents to a .200 batting average and recording 86 strikeouts which are both the league's best. He also leads the conference in fewest hits (44) and earned runs allowed (16).
Anderson has given up just 22 earned runs, 2nd in the CCC, and only two home runs, the fewest in the conference.
Williams leads the CCC in innings pitched (71.2) and wins (7). He also limited batters to a .213 average and allowed just 27 runs which both rank second in the conference.
 
In his 10th year as the helm of the British Columbia program, Chris Pritchett led the team to its first outright regular season conference championship with a 29-8 CCC record. The Thunderbirds boast the best statistics in several categories including hits (558), RBIs (407), home runs (78), and total bases (947). Under Pritchett's leadership, UBC has earned six berths to the NAIA Championship Opening Round, including in each of the last three seasons. Pritchett has earned NAIA West Coach of the Year honors twice, in 2017 and 2019, both as co-winner.
