The University of British Columbia Thunderbirds women’s track and field team is on pace for another stellar season. Last year they earned the 2024 NAIA title. This year UBC captured the 2025 CCC Championship, where head coach Laurier Primeau was named the Coach of the Year. He is joined by star student athletes Hanna Sobkowich and Sonya Urbanowicz, who both set new records last week at the conference championship meet.
