MARION, Ind. –
[RESULTS] The second day of the 2025 NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championship saw six individual champions crowned.
In the team standings, University of British Columbia stayed on top with 44 points. Eastern Oregon University is tied for eighth with 14 points. College of Idaho is tied for 11th with 10 points.
All-American- Decathlon: Justin Krabbenhoft of Eastern Oregon University finished in a close second place with 6948 points. He excelled in the 100m, finishing 5th with a time of 11.00 seconds, and the long jump, where he claimed first place with a leap of 6.84m.
National Champion- 5,000-meter Race Walk: Lowell Solmes of British Columbia emerged victorious with a time of 20:43.77, showcasing a strong finish to secure the national title. Solmes demonstrated consistent pacing throughout the race, particularly excelling in the latter stages where he moved up the ranks from as far back as 13th to claim the title after leading in the final stretch. Teammate Tyler Wilson finished close behind in second place with a time of 20:49.23.
All-Americans- 4x800-meter relay: British Columbia finished in eighth place with a time of 7:36.12.
All-American- Long Jump: Lyle Lo of British Columbia earned sixth place with a mark of 7.36m.
All-American- High Jump: Tyler Jones of Eastern Oregon earned third place with a mark of 2.04m.
All-American- Discus: William Kizell of British Columbia earned seventh place with a mark of 50.21m.
The top eight finishers in each event are NAIA All-Americans.
The final day of the championship will open with the 3,000m steeplechase final at 12:20 p.m. CT/1:20 p.m. ET. The day will culminate in crowning a team champion with the Red Banner at approximately 5 p.m. CT/6 p.m. ET.
