CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference is proud to announce Drew Wyman of College of Idaho and Megan Perry of Southern Oregon University as the 2024-25 CCC U.S. Bank Male and Female Scholar-Athletes of the Year.
The Cascade Conference’s highest academic honor is awarded following a vote by the conference’s athletic directors.
Wyman, the senior biomedical sciences major earned the Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year award for the second consecutive year after completing one of the most successful academic and athletic careers in College of Idaho history. The Great Falls, Mont., native graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA in one of the institution’s most challenging academic programs, Biomedical Sciences, and is a member of the prestigious Gipson Honors Program.
Wyman is a three-time Academic All-America selection and was named the 2024-25 NAIA Men’s Basketball Academic All-America Team Member of the Year by the CSC, an honor given to the top academic men’s basketball player in the NAIA.
On the court, Wyman helped lead the Yotes to two NAIA national championships in three years. He appeared in 145 career games, starting a program record of 143, and totaled 1,708 points while averaging 11.8 points per game. He shot 53.4 percent from the field as a senior and was a key contributor in C of I’s 2024 title run.
Wyman was also selected to the inaugural NACDA Good Works Team (Winter), honoring his wide-ranging impact on campus and in the community. His legacy at the College of Idaho reflects deeply in leadership, academic excellence, and athletic achievement.

Perry, a senior Business Administration and Management major from Snohomish, Wash., completed a decorated career with the Raiders by excelling both academically and athletically. She graduated with a 3.98 cumulative GPA and was named the Southern Oregon University Business Department’s Student of the Year.
On the court, Perry became the first College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American in SOU volleyball history and was one of only seven NAIA players selected to the 2024-25 Academic All-America First Team. She also made the NAIA All-America First Team for her performance on the court, becoming just the fifth Raider to ever earn the distinction.
Perry was voted the Cascade Conference Player of the Year as a right-side hitter, holding the highest hitting percentage in the conference (.413). Her leadership helped propel Southern Oregon to a 32-4 overall record, including the program’s first-ever national semifinal appearance. The team also captured both the CCC regular-season and tournament championships.
As a consistent NAIA Scholar-Athlete and top performer throughout her career, Perry’s accomplishments exemplify what it truly means to be a student-athlete.
