SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – The Bushnell women’s golf team got their 2025 season underway on Friday with a victory over Corban University in a dual taking place at Pine Ridge Golf Course.
Bushnell knocked off the Warriors by 52 strokes, 345-397 as all five Beacons placed first through fifth in the event.
Jada Richwine earned the tournament medalist honors, posting an 83 in the single-round event. She was followed by freshman Jaylee Hix who made her Bushnell debut shooting an 85.
Morgan Schlesinger followed with an 87 while Kylee Smith shot a 90 and Hailey Smith carded a 93.
Corban was led by Jaycie Moubray, shooting a 97 to take sixth-place. Ashlyn Thomas and Maddy Moore followed, tied for seventh at 99.
The Beacons will be back in action on September 8 when they kick off the Cascade Collegiate Conference schedule at the Walla Walla Invitational.
