KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp of University of Providence secured the final NAIA Women’s Wrestler of the Week honor after her outing at the Firestorm Open, spending just 67 seconds total on the mat.
The 131-pounder pinned three opponents in rapid fashion in 11, 12, and 24 seconds, while adding a 20-second technical fall to go 4-0 for the day.
Estrella-Beauchamp claims the weekly award for the second time this season, after collecting her first on Nov. 12.
Argos women’s wrestling is 13-2 overall, with the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships set for March 1 as the team looks to carry its momentum into postseason competition.
