Oregon Tech and Eastern Oregon split
Game 3 (10 innings): Oregon Tech won 9-8. Two runs in the tenth secured OIT’s victory. Pontocorvo led the way with three hits, two RBIs, and one hit. Hysell got the win on the mound with five strikeouts in three innings. The Mountaineers were paced by McDaniel with two RBIs, two runs, and one hit.
Game 4 (Non-Conf.): Eastern Oregon won 10-7. Both teams had 12 hits. EOU earned three home runs, led by Nagler with two. Nagler had three hits, three RBIs, and 3 runs. Weissenfe got the win on the mound, only allowing one run in three innings. OIT was paced by Pickhardt with three RBIs and two hits.
Lewis-Clark State College swept Warner Pacific University
Game 3: LC State won 5-3. A three-run home run by Westerlun gave the Warriors an early lead in the second inning. Westerlund ended the game with four RBIs, three hits, and one run. Cloud got the win on the mound with seven strikeouts in five innings. The Knights were paced by Tober with two hits, two runs, and one RBI.
Game 4 (Non-Conf.): LC State won 10-4. Back-to-back innings of four runs put the Warriors up by six in the fifth inning. Nguyen led LC State with two runs, two hits, two stolen bases, and one RBI. O’neil got the win on the mound with five strikeouts in five innings. WPU picked up two home runs and was paced by Thoma-Bri with two hits and two RBIs.
