CORVALLIS, Ore. –
The following 10 Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athletes have been recognized as the McDonald's Player of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, for their performances during competition from April 13 – 19, 2026.
Baseball – Player
(RV) University of British Columbia’s Calvin Warrillow was named the CCC Baseball Player of the Week.
Warrillow, a junior outfielder from Toronto, Ont., had an outstanding weekend on the field, helping lead the Thunderbirds to a series sweep over Oregon Tech. He recorded a .600 batting average and a 1.267 slugging percentage with nine hits including three homeruns. He also added nine RBIs and eight runs while earning a .625 on base percentage. Defensively he was perfect in the field to cap off the terrific performance.
Baseball – Pitcher
Bushnell University’s Chase Marshall was named the CCC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
Marshall, a junior from Surrey, British Columbia, delivered a standout performance for the Beacons, leading to a 4-3 upset over No. 5-ranked Lewis-Clark State College. He did not allow a run to cross and let up just one hit while striking out eight batters over four innings for a perfect ERA and a .75 WHIP.
Softball – Player
No. 5-ranked Eastern Oregon University’s Lexi Grumbois was named the CCC Softball Player of the Week.
Grumbois, a junior third baseman from Kelso, Wash., had a terrific weekend on the field as EOU won the series against Corban University. She recorded a .571 batting average and a .714 slugging percentage with eight hits including two doubles. She also added five RBIs and two runs while earning a .600 on base percentage. Defensively she was perfect in the field to round out her stellar outing.
Softball – Pitcher
(RV) University of British Columbia’s Carleen Murray was named the CCC Softball Pitcher of the Week for the fourth time this season.
Murray, a senior from White Rock, B.C., had another fantastic weekend in the circle for the Thunderbirds against Warner Pacific University. She struck out 20 batters without allowing an earned run, giving up just five hits and two walks for a perfect ERA and a 0.50 WHIP.
Men’s Outdoor Track & Field – Track Athlete
Corban University’s Jack Gladfelter was named the CCC Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Gladfelter, a junior from Port Angeles, Wash., had a standout showing at the Bryan Clay Invitational. He finished the 10,000m in 29:43.18 to reach an ‘A’ Standard and take over the top spot on the NAIA leaderboard.
Men’s Outdoor Track & Field – Field Athlete
Oregon Tech’s Eli Stevens was named the CCC Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
Stevens, a senior from Medford, Ore., delivered a dominant performance to win the decathlon at the CCC Multi-Event Championships with a career best 6,684 points. The mark ranks No. 4 in the NAIA this season and No. 4 in OIT history, improving his previous best by 368 points. He recorded personal bests in the discus (41.29m), pole vault (4.90m), 100 meters (11.11), and 400 meters (49.86). He pulled away on day two to secure the title by 558 points, highlighted by his pole vault mark that is tied for No. 4 in the NAIA this season.
Women’s Outdoor Track & Field – Track Athlete
University of British Columbia’s Elysse Fleming was named the CCC Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for the second straight week.
Fleming, a senior from London, Ont., had an outstanding weekend at the Bryan Clay Invitational. She posted a 4:27.19 in the 1500 meters and a 10:10.86 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase, earning an NAIA ‘A’ standard in both events. She now holds the No. 4 and No. 1 marks on the NAIA leaderboard in these events, respectively.
Women’s Outdoor Track & Field – Field Athlete
Eastern Oregon University’s Lizzy Grandle was named the CCC Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
Grandle, a senior from Molalla, Ore., delivered a dominant performance to win the heptathlon at the CCC Multi-Event Championships with a career best 5,160 points. She set both a meet and program record and now ranks No. 1 in the NAIA by a margin of 300 points. She won five of the seven events, highlighted by an NAIA ‘A’ standard mark in the javelin (42.95m), which ranks No. 7 nationally. Grandle opened the competition in commanding fashion, winning all four day-one events, the 100-meter hurdles (15.09), high jump (1.61m), shot put (12.71m), and 200 meters (25.39). She maintained that momentum through day two, finishing with a 763 point victory margin over the runner-up.
Men’s Golf – Golfer
(RV) Lewis-Clark State College’s Luke West was named the CCC Men’s Golfer of the Week.
West (70-73-70 – 213), a junior from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, captured the individual title at the Tournament of Knights, the final CCC regular season event. He led throughout both days to earn his first collegiate victory. He finished 6-under par through 54 holes with a pair of 3-under-par rounds. He carded 12 birdies throughout the week to help lead LC State to a second-place team finish.
Women’s Golf – Golfer
No. 4-ranked University of British Columbia’s Keira Hou was named the CCC Women’s Golfer of the Week.
Hou (78-74 – 231), a sophomore from Richmond Hill, Ont., claimed the individual title at the Tournament of Knights, the final CCC regular season event. She sat tied for fourth after the opening round before surging in round two to win by one stroke over her teammate, leading the Thunderbirds to their third team title, winning by a 32-stroke margin.
