LEWISTON, Idaho — University of British Columbia captured the 2026 Cascade Collegiate Conference Women’s Golf Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, in dominant fashion, winning by 19 strokes at the Lewiston Golf & Country Club.
With the tournament title victory, the Thunderbirds secured an automatic berth to the NAIA National Championship, set for May 19–22 at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Lewis-Clark State College finished runner-up with a team total of 912, followed by Oregon Tech in third at 919. Southern Oregon University placed fourth at 967, with College of Idaho in fifth at 982.
Bushnell University (1017), Walla Walla University (1061), and Corban University (1074) rounded out the team standings.
Individually, UBC’s Jessica Ng rose to the occasion, capturing the championship medalist honors with a 54-hole total of 221 (+5). Ng delivered when it mattered most, carding an even-par final round to climb the leaderboard and secure her first tournament win of the season on the conference’s biggest stage.
Teammates Grace Yao and Keira Hou tied for second at 223 (+7), while College of Idaho’s Reece Garey and Lewis-Clark State’s Giulia Belfontali tied for fourth at 225 (+9). Oregon Tech’s Madison Dick and UBC’s Sienna Harder rounded out the top competitors, tying for sixth at 226 (+10).
In addition to the tournament title, the Thunderbirds also claimed the CCC regular season championship, finishing the year with all four tournament victories and a conference best 299 scoring average. The sweep marks the sixth time British Columbia has captured both the regular season and tournament titles. The reigning National Champions now look ahead to defend its title at the NAIA Tournament.
Jeff Davies of College of Idaho was named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year for the first time in his career. The Yotes were named the Athletic Solutions Team Sportsmanship Award winners.
The CCC Player of the Year is awarded to the golfer with the lowest stroke average during the conference season. Hou earned the honor, holding a 73.8 stroke average.
The All Cascade Conference Team is awarded by the top-ten finishers in order of stroke average. Golfers must have played in a minimum of six CCC rounds to be eligible.
