2026 CCC Baseball Championship Tournament - Day Two

LEWISTON, Idaho. — Day two of the 2026 Cascade Collegiate Conference Baseball Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, featured another slate of competitive matchups. Championship Sunday begins with the final elimination game at 11 a.m., followed by the title game at 2:30 p.m., where Lewis-Clark State awaits its opponent. As the lone undefeated team, the Warriors need just one win to secure the championship.

No. 5 seed Oregon Tech def. No. 3 seed College of Idaho, 13-10
Oregon Tech defeated College of Idaho 13-10 in the CCC Baseball Championship elimination round. The Yotes scored consistently throughout the game, plating two runs in the first, second, fourth, fifth, and seventh innings, but OIT answered with timely offense, highlighted by a four run fourth inning and a three run eighth to secure the win. Both teams recorded 12 hits in the high-scoring matchup. Andrew Sharp, Logan Macy, Cal Pickhardt, and Nick Gimino each hit home runs for the Owls. Gimino led the way, going 3-for-4 with three runs and four RBIs. Aiden Lundquist earned the win on the mound, tossing 2.2 hitless and scoreless innings with four strikeouts. Darren Smith paced the Yotes with three hits, two runs, and two RBIs as College of Idaho concluded its season at 29-21 overall. Oregon Tech advances to face Bushnell in the night elimination game.

No. 1 seed Lewis-Clark State College def. No. 2 seed University of British Columbia, 2-1
Lewis-Clark State edged British Columbia 2-1 in a tight CCC Baseball Championship matchup. British Columbia struck first in the second inning on an RBI from Matt Vanslyke, but the Warriors answered late with runs in the sixth and seventh innings on RBIs from Jackson Reed and Sam Weber. Izzy Madariaga led LC State with two hits. Mason Goodson earned the win on the mound, allowing just one earned run and striking out six batters over seven innings, while Zach Elsos secured the save. Vanslyke paced the Thunderbirds with two hits and an RBI. UBC threatened in the ninth, loading the bases with two outs, but the Warriors held on to secure the victory. Lewis-Clark State advances in the winners bracket to the championship round and must be defeated twice as the lone undefeated team. British Columbia moves to the elimination bracket and will face the winner of game six (Bushnell) tomorrow at 11 a.m.

No. 4 seed Bushnell University def. No. 5 seed Oregon Tech, 5-1
Bushnell earned a 5-1 victory over Oregon Tech in the CCC Baseball Championship night elimination game. OIT opened the scoring with an RBI single from Jacob Cook but Bushnell responded with three runs in the first inning and added two more in the third to take control. The Beacons held the lead the rest of the way. Dylan Carson led Bushnell with two hits, including a double and a triple, along with two RBIs and a run scored. Caleb Richter added a triple and two RBIs. DJ Kauahi earned the win on the mound, pitching eight innings while allowing just one earned run and striking out 10 batters. The Owls outhit Bushnell 9-7 with JoJo Roman pacing the way with two hits and a run. Oregon Tech concluded its season at 25-28 overall. Bushnell moves on to face British Columbia tomorrow at 11 a.m. with a chance to compete for the tournament title at stake.
