McDonald's Player of the Week, Presented by Urban Edge Network

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The following four Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athletes have been recognized as the McDonald's Player of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, for their performances during competition from April 27 – May 3, 2026.
 
Men’s Outdoor Track & Field – Track Athlete
Southern Oregon University’s Mason Weisgerber was named the CCC Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Weisgerber, a junior from Wilsonville, Ore., turned in a strong performance at the Oregon State High Performance Meet. He won the the 5000m with a time of 14:17.26 to reach an NAIA ‘A’ Standard.

Men’s Outdoor Track & Field – Field Athlete
Bushnell University’s Ty Kishen was named the CCC Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Kishen, a senior from Cottage Grove, Ore., delivered a dominant performance at the Oregon State High Performance Meet. He placed second in the triple jump to reach an NAIA ‘B’ Standard with a mark of 14.90m and set a program record.

Women’s Outdoor Track & Field – Track Athlete
University of British Columbia’s Mackenzie Campbell was named the CCC Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Campbell, a senior from Kingston, Ont., had an outstanding weekend at the Oregon State High Performance Meet. She placed third in the 1500m (4:22.12) and fourth in the 800m (2:06.55), reaching NAIA ‘A’ Standards in both events. These were personal best times and now sit No. 2 in both events on the NAIA leaderboard this season.
 
Women’s Outdoor Track & Field – Field Athlete
Southern Oregon University’s Sydney Perkins was named the CCC Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Perkins, a senior from Middleton, Idaho, delivered a strong performance at the Linfield Open. She won the pole vault with a mark of 3.78m to reach an NAIA ‘A’ Standard and hold the No. 10 rank on the NAIA leaderboard.
