2026 CCC Men’s Track and Field Championship – Day One

LA GRANDE, Ore. – 
The first day of the 2026 Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Track and Field Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, is complete. College of Idaho leads the team standings with 102 points after the opening day of competition.

MEN’S TEAM SCORES (through 11 events) – College of Idaho (102), Eastern Oregon University (70), Trinity Western University (43), Oregon Tech (40), University of British Columbia (38), Lewis-Clark State College (37), Corban University (33), Southern Oregon University (27), Bushnell University (26), Northwest University (10), The Evergreen State College (3).

HAMMER THROW: Mark Church of Eastern Oregon claimed the conference title with a throw of 56.69m. Lucas Midgett (52.58m) and Keenan Blair (52.30m) of College of Idaho followed in second and third, respectively.

STEEPLECHASE: Josiah Jaquith of Northwest won the event with a time of 9:28.13. Braedan Doherty (9:31.57) of Oregon Tech and Malcolm Reid (9:31.63) of Trinity Western rounded out the top three.

POLE VAULT: Eli Stevens of Oregon Tech earned the conference title with a clearance of 4.81m. Eastern Oregon’s Van Vinson (4.71m) and Jack Herman (4.61m) finished second and third.

4x100-METER RELAY: Eastern Oregon captured the title with a time of 40.52. Lewis-Clark State finished second in 40.81, while Trinity Western placed third at 40.91.

1,500 METERS: Yemane Mulugeta of Trinity Western won the event with a time of 3:54.14. Carter Stedman (3:55.21) of Southern Oregon and Kobe Wessels (3:58.30) of Lewis-Clark State completed the podium.

LONG JUMP: Oliver Reis of Corban recorded the top mark at 7.50m to win the event. Kaleolani Wellman (7.39m) and Ty Kishen (7.10m) of Bushnell placed second and third, respectively.

110-METER HURDLES: College of Idaho swept the podium as Kenyon Carter won with a time of 14.58. Bryson Montag followed in second at 14.67, while Trevor Treat took third in 14.82.

400 METERS: James Kerr of British Columbia earned first place with a time of 47.09. Peter Daniels (47.47) of Eastern Oregon and Daniel Earles (47.47) of Trinity Western followed in second and third.

10,000 METERS: Jack Gladfelter of Corban claimed the conference title with a time of 31:56.61. Oclan Ryan (32:14.16) of College of Idaho and David Mutai (32:22.14) of Trinity Western rounded out the top finishers.

SHOT PUT: Keenan Blair of College of Idaho won the event with a throw of 15.90m. Reid Thomas (15.35m) of Lewis-Clark State and Reed Martin (15.26m) of College of Idaho followed behind.

NOTE: The top three finishers in each event earn All-Conference Honors.
