2024 CCC Men’s Track and Field Championship - Day One

RESULTSTOURNAMENT CENTRAL

Klamath Falls, Ore. | The first day of the 2024 Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Track and Field Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, is completed. Eastern Oregon University leads in the team score by 29 points.

MEN’S TEAM SCORES (through 9 events) – Eastern Oregon University (93), College of Idaho (64), University of British Columbia College of Idaho (63), Lewis-Clark State College (48), Oregon Tech (38), Southern Oregon (32), Multnomah (26), Corban University (14), Bushnell University (12)

HAMMER: Deven Marrero of British Columbia took the top spot with a mark of 55.13m. Teammate Matthew Uliana (52.59m) and Tanner Sackman (51.95m) of College of Idaho followed.

STEEPLECHASE: Justin Ash of Eastern Oregon won the event with a time of 9:24.36. Maximilien Filion (9:42.64) of British Columbia and Tychon Preston (9:46.30) of Oregon Tech followed.

POLE VAULT: Carson Le Bel of Southern Oregon took first with a mark of 4.70m. Eli Stevens (4.60m) of Oregon Tech and Keith Sorenson (4.50m) of Southern Oregon followed.

4x100-METER RELAY: Multnomah’s squad took the top spot on the podium with a time of 39.88. Lewis-Clark State finished in second with a time of 41.44 and College of Idaho finished third with a time of 41.47.

1,500 METERS: Hunter Nichols of Eastern Oregon earned first place with a time of 3:54.56. Frankie Maciel (3:55.12) of Southern Oregon and Griffen Parsells (3:56.90) of Lewis-Clark State followed.

LONG JUMP: Lyle Lo of British Columbia received the top spot with a mark of 6.87m. Kaleo Wellman (6.83m) of Bushnell and Trenton Johnson (6.82m) of Lewis-Clark State followed.

110-METER HURDLES: TJ Davis of Eastern Oregon won with a time of 14.85. Teammate Israel Miles (15.35) and Ike Hopper (15.56) of Lewis-Clark State followed.

400 METERS: Roderick Soto of Multnomah won the event with a time of 46.68. London Kirk (47.30) of Lewis-Clark State and James Kerr (47.52) of British Columbia followed.

10,000 METERS: College of Idaho swept the podium, led by Hayden Bostrom (31:53.82), Elias Everist (31:54.68), and Brevin Vaughan (32:24.93).

The Men’s Discuss has been moved to 9:00 a.m. tomorrow.
