Final 2026 NAIA Men’s and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – [RESULTS] The 2026 NAIA Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships concluded Friday. On the final day, the Cascade Collegiate Conference totaled 20 individual All-Americans and two All-America relay teams, highlighted by four individual national champions and a team national title as the University of British Columbia women successfully defended their national championship.

On the women’s side, British Columbia capped a standout week by claiming the NAIA Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Championship, securing the program’s sixth national title in the last seven years. The Thunderbirds finished with 101.5 points, 49.5 points ahead of the runner up team. Eastern Oregon University followed as the next highest CCC finisher with 15 points in 20th place, while Southern Oregon University placed 21st with 14 points.

British Columbia’s Sonya Urbanowicz was named the NAIA Women’s Outstanding Performer after winning her fourth consecutive national title in the pole vault while breaking the championship record. UBC head coach Laurier Primeau earned Women’s Coach of the Year honors.

In the high jump, British Columbia’s Sarah Pimblett cleared a personal-best 1.70m to tie for sixth, while Corban University athlete Kayla Morgan secured eighth with a jump of 1.67m as both earned All-America honors.

In the discus, Oregon Teach's freshman Amina Redfield placed third with a throw of 44.42m. British Columbia freshman Catarina Bell followed closely in fourth at 44.37m as both athletes secured All-America status.

The women’s 3,000-meter steeplechase was won by British Columbia’s Elysse Fleming in 10:22.95 to add 10 points for the Thunderbirds. College of Idaho's Kylee Quinton placed third in 10:39.64, recording a personal best performance.

British Columbia continued its strong distance showing in the women’s 1,500 meter run as Mackenzie Campbell claimed the national title in 4:22.31. Teammate Sarah MacGillivray added a third place finish in 4:27.95, while Eastern Oregon’s Riley Morris finished fourth in a season best 4:28.67 as all three earned All-America honors.

In the women’s 100-meter hurdles, Lewis-Clark State College senior Madigan Kelly earned All-America honors with a fourth-place finish in 13.99.

Southern Oregon’s Lillian Pickett posted a personal-best time of 55.29 in the women’s 400-meter hurdles to earn All-America status, while British Columbia sophomore Haley Martin added a fifth-place finish in 58.99.

The women’s 800-meter run featured another All-America performance from Mackenzie Campbell, who placed second in 2:07.58.

In the women’s 5,000 meter run, Southern Oregon's Alyssa Johnson placed fourth in 17:23.28 while British Columbia senior Sarah MacGillivray followed in fifth at 17:25.02 as both collected All-America honors.

British Columbia concluded the women’s meet with a runner up finish in the 4x400-meter relay, posting a season best time of 3:43.06 behind the quartet of G. Katics, M. Cameron, M. Campbell and H. Martin.
On the men’s side, British Columbia led CCC programs with 31 points to finish eighth overall. Corban followed in 15th with 17 points, while Southern Oregon placed 31st with nine points.

In the men’s triple jump, Corban freshman Oliver Reis earned runner up honors with a leap of 15.47m, moving him to No. 5 in the 2026 NAIA rankings.

The men’s 3,000-meter steeplechase was highlighted by a national championship performance from British Columbia junior Maximilien Filion, who crossed in 9:01.15. Northwest University sophomore Josiah Jaquith followed in third with a time of 9:07.66 as both earned All-America honors.

British Columbia junior James Kerr captured the national title in the men’s 400-meter hurdles, winning in a personal-best 50.30.

In the men’s 5,000-meter run, Trinity Western University sophomore Yemane Mulugeta finished third in 14:20.26. Southern Oregon junior Carter Stedman placed fourth in a personal-best 14:27.28, while Corban junior Jack Gladfelter added a sixth place finish in 14:31.60 as all three athletes earned All-America honors.

British Columbia closed out the championship with a seventh-place finish in the men’s 4x400-meter relay, recording a time of 3:17.78.
