CLEVELAND – The final 2023-24 LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup standings for NAIA have College of Idaho leading 11 Cascade Collegiate Conference institutions in 10th place with 641.50 total points.
The Yotes ended strong, earning points by making National Championship appearances in softball, and men’s and women’s outdoor track and field. Southern Oregon University followed in 16th place with 582.00 total points, also with contributions from softball, and men’s and women’s outdoor track and field.
Lewis-Clark State College totaled 492.75 points to place 29th, adding points from baseball and men’s and women’s outdoor track and field. Eastern Oregon University followed close behind in 32nd place with 473.80 points with assistance from softball and men’s and women’s outdoor track and field.
University of British Columbia was the next CCC team in 40th place, standing with 399.00 points with the help of a national title in women’s outdoor track and field and additional points on the men’s side. Oregon Tech held 82nd, collecting 221.00 total points with additional national success in softball.
Corban University ranked 96th with 197.50 points. Multnomah earned 121.88 points to secure 121st place from men’s and women’s outdoor track and field. The Evergreen State College gained points in women’s outdoor track and field to finish 161st with 50.50 points.
Bushnell University added points in baseball to end tied with Northwest University, rounding out the ranked CCC teams in 178th with 25.00 total points.
The LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in NAIA Championships.
