2026 CCC Golf Championships Preview

CORVALLIS, Ore.  The 2026 Cascade Collegiate Conference Golf Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, are set to tee off Monday morning.

The winners of the tournaments will earn the CCC’s automatic qualifier to the NAIA National Tournaments, while the regular season conference champion is determined by the best win/loss record across all conference tournaments, including the championship. In the event of a tie, co-conference champions will be declared.

All-Conference honors will be awarded to the top 10 players with the lowest stroke averages. Individuals must have competed in at least 75 percent of CCC rounds to be eligible.

On the men’s side, No. 16-ranked University of British Columbia leads the conference with a 284.6 team average entering the championship. The Thunderbirds went undefeated in CCC play this season and will look to defend their title for the sixth consecutive year (excluding the COVID hiatus).

(RV) Lewis-Clark State College sits second with a 290.3 average, followed by Oregon Tech at 292.7. Bushnell University (298.0) and Southern Oregon University (300.4) round out the top five.

College of Idaho (301.3), Corban University (303.1), Warner Pacific University (305.2), and Walla Walla University (306.1) will also look to make moves on the leaderboard.

The Thunderbirds also dominate the individual standings, holding the top four spots led by Leighton Wright (71.1 average), followed closely by Forest Van Alstine (71.2), Jake Houston (71.4), and Aneesh Kaura (71.6). The individual race is expected to be highly competitive, with the top 10 CCC golfers all carrying scoring averages under 73.

On the women’s side, No. 5-ranked University of British Columbia leads the conference with a 299.3 team average. UBC has swept all three CCC tournaments this season and will aim to secure its sixth straight championship title (excluding COVID hiatus).

No. 22-ranked Oregon Tech ranks second with a 312.5 average, followed by No. 20-ranked Lewis-Clark State College (316.8). College of Idaho (324.3) and Southern Oregon University (328.2) complete the top five.

Bushnell University (338.5), Walla Walla University (351.7), and Corban University (360.8) round out the field.

Individually, Keira Hou of UBC leads the standings with a 73.2 scoring average, followed by Reece Garey of College of Idaho at 74.7. The individual competition is expected to be tight, with the top nine golfers all holding scoring averages below 79.

The 54-hole championship will take place April 27–29 in Lewiston, Idaho, hosted by Lewis-Clark State at the Lewiston Golf & Country Club. The tournament will feature 18 holes each day with shotgun starts scheduled for the opening rounds and tee times for the final round. 8:30 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday and 8 a.m. off of hole #1 (men) and hole #10 (women) on Wednesday.
