McDonald's Player of the Week, Presented by Urban Edge Network

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The following 13 Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athletes have been recognized as the McDonald's Player of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, for their performances during competition from October 28 – November 2, 2025.

Men’s Basketball – Defensive Player
College of Idaho’s Chance Winter was named the CCC Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Winter, a freshmen center from Hillsboro, Ore., made an impressive Yote debut, collecting 10 rebounds and four blocks on top of 11 points in just 21 minutes to help lead C of I to a 30-point road win over Carroll College.

Men’s Basketball – Offensive Player
College of Idaho’s Tucker Tiddens was named the CCC Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week.

Tiddens, a freshmen forward from Nampa, Idaho, made an impressive Yote debut, scoring 18 points on 85.7 shooting percentage on top of nine rebounds in just 20 minutes to help lead C of I to a 30-point road victory over Carroll College.

Women’s Basketball – Defensive Player
Corban University’s Emilia Bishop was named the CCC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Bishop, a graduate student center from Wilsonville, Ore., helped lead the Warriors to two victories to open the season, totaling 20 points, 15 rebounds, two steals, and two blocks across 49 minutes of action.

Women’s Basketball – Offensive Player
Corban University’s Jersey Huerta was named the CCC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week.

Huerta, a sophomore guard from Kent, Wash., powered the Warriors to two season-opening wins, posting 49 points on 45.5 shooting percentage while adding 12 assists and 10 rebounds over 69 minutes of play.
 
Men’s Soccer – Defensive Player
(RV) Carroll College’s Juan Muniz Navarrete was named the CCC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season.

Muniz Navarrete, a senior goalkeeper from Hermiston, Ore., anchored the Fighting Saints to two more shutouts against Bushnell University and Corban University, tallying six saves to help secure the No. 2 seed in the postseason championship.
 
Men’s Soccer – Offensive Player
(RV) Carroll College’s Felix Billard was named the CCC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Billard, a junior forward from Mallorca, Spain, scored two goals and added three assists to lead the Fighting Saints to two more shutouts against Bushnell University and Corban University, finishing with seven points and a .750 shot-on-goal percentage to help secure the No. 2 seed in the postseason championship.

Women’s Soccer – Defensive Player
Carroll College’s Maria Ackerman was named the CCC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Ackerman, a junior goalkeeper from Billings, Mont., posted back-to-back shutouts for the Fighting Saints, recording nine total saves.

Women’s Soccer – Offensive Player
(RV) Southern Oregon University’s Abby McKean was named the CCC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
 
McKean, a junior forward from Hanford, Calif., powered the Raiders to two more shutout wins over Warner Pacific University and Walla Walla University, tallying four goals and eight points with a .857 shot-on-goal percentage to help secure the No. 2 seed in the postseason championship.
 
Men's Wrestling – Wrestler
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Yoshiya Funakoshi was named the CCC Men’s Wrestler of the Week.
 
Funakoshi (141lbs), a junior from Torrance, Calif., entered the weekend unranked and went 5-0 at the Falcon Open, including a technical fall and a pin, while defeating multiple ranked opponents en route to the individual title in his weight class.
 
Women's Wrestling – Wrestler
Southern Oregon University’s Lillian Gradillas-Flores was named the CCC Women’s Wrestler of the Week.
 
Gradillas-Flores (207lbs), a sophomore from Tucson, Ariz., wrestled up from her usual weight class and won the heavyweight title at the Menlo Open by going 4-0 with 3 bonus-point victories.
 
Volleyball – Attacker
No. 5-ranked Corban University’s Emma Bischoff was named the CCC Attacker of the Week for the third time this season.
 
Bischoff, a junior outside hitter from Medford, Ore., led the Warriors to a pair of four set wins over No. 12-ranked Lewis-Clark State College and (RV) Walla Walla University. She tallied 32 kills (4.00 k/s) with just six errors for an impressive .419 attack percentage. She also contributed 28 digs and four service aces in a strong all-around performance.

Volleyball – Defender
No. 20-ranked Bushnell University’s Soleil Sands was named the CCC Defender of the Week for the second time this season.

Sands, a junior middle blocker from Vacaville, Calif., led the Beacons to big wins over No. 12-ranked Lewis-Clark State College and (RV) Walla Walla University. She posted 11 blocks (1.38 b/s) and added 15 kills in a strong weekend performance.

Volleyball – Setter
Oregon tech’s Lucy Boyd was named the CCC Setter of the Week for the second time this season.
 
Boyd, a sophomore setter from Cave Creek, Ariz., guided the Owls to a pair of sweeps over No. 21-ranked Northwest University and The Evergreen State College. She totaled 72 assists (12.00 a/s) along with 19 digs, three service aces and two blocks in a well-rounded performance.
