McDonald's Player of the Week, Presented by Urban Edge Network

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The following 10 Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athletes have been recognized as the McDonald's Player of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, for their performances during competition from January 12  – 18, 2026.

Men’s Basketball – Defensive Player
College of Idaho’s Rey Johnston was named the CCC Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Johnston, a freshman forward from Missoula, Mont., helped lead the Yotes to two more conference victories over Bushnell University (74-67) and Corban University (72-52). He tallied 14 rebounds and four blocks while helping limit opponents to an average of 59.5 points per game.

Men’s Basketball – Offensive Player
College of Idaho’s Rey Johnston was named the CCC Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week.

Johnston, a freshman forward from Missoula, Mont., helped lead the Yotes to two more conference victories over Bushnell University (74-67) and Corban University (72-52). He averaged 21 points a game while shooting 60 percent from the field and 45.5 from the arc.

Women’s Basketball – Defensive Player
No. 17-ranked Eastern Oregon University’s Kelsie Siegner was named the CCC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season.

Siegner, a senior guard from Crane, Ore., guided the Mounties to two more conference wins against Bushnell University (56-45) and No. 20-ranked Corban University (66-63). She averaged 8.5 rebounds and 16 points across both contests on top of adding seven blocks and three steals.

Women’s Basketball – Offensive Player
Walla Walla University’s Jaylo Bello was named the CCC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week.

Bello, a sophomore guard from Tonasket, Wash., powered the Wolves this weekend. She averaged nearly 30 points a game with a 53.8 field goal percentage while adding four assists and four steals. She also set a WWU record with eight 3-pointers in Saturday's matchup.
 
Men's Wrestling – Wrestler
(RV) Eastern Oregon University’s Kylan Guerra was named the CCC Men’s Wrestler of the Week.
 
Guerra (174lbs), a sophomore from Blackfoot, Idaho, went undefeated with four wins to take the individual crown at the Evergreen Open. He defeated opponents by three pins and a technical fall to claim the victory.
 
Women's Wrestling – Wrestler
No. 15-ranked The Evergreen State College’s Haley Le was named the CCC Women’s Wrestler of the Week.

Le (138lbs), a sophomore from Portland, Ore., went undefeated with four wins at the Evergreen Open. She won the first match on criteria before earning a technical fall and two pins on her way to the individual title.
 
Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Track Athlete
Trinity Western University’s Yemane Mulugeta was named the CCC Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Mulugeta, a sophomore runner from Surrey, B.C., opened the indoor campaign in speedy fashion by finishing as the fastest NAIA competitor in the 3000m with a time of 8:03.50. He reached ‘A’ standard and set a TWU school record at the UW Preview.

Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Field Athlete
Corban University’s Oliver Reis was named the CCC Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Reis, a sophomore jumper from San Antonio, Texas, had terrific performances at the UW Preview, setting program records in both events. He finished first in the triple jump with a mark of 15.60m to reach ‘A’ standard and third in the long jump with a mark of 7.21m to reach a ‘B’ standard.

Women’s Indoor Track & Field – Track Athlete
Southern Oregon University’s Lilly Pickett was named the CCC Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Pickett, a freshman runner from Turner, Ore., had a strong showing at the Nevada Invitational. She placed fifth in the 400m with a time of 56.05, reaching ‘A’ Standard and currently ranks No. 6 in the NAIA this season.
 
Women’s Indoor Track & Field – Field Athlete
Oregon Tech’s Kalina Saechao was named the CCC Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Saechao, a freshman thrower from Salem, Ore., had a strong showing at the Nevada Invitational. She set a program record in the weight throw with a mark of 14.35m.
