McDonald's Player of the Week, Presented by Urban Edge Network

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The following 14 Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athletes have been recognized as the McDonald's Player of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, for their performances during competition from February 2  – 8, 2026.

Men’s Basketball – Defensive Player
Corban University’s Joe Gould was named the CCC Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Gould, a junior guard from Fairfield, Calif., helped lead the Warriors to two CCC wins over No. 22-ranked Oregon Tech (90-70) and Southern Oregon University (79-71). He tallied 13 rebounds, eight steals, and two blocks on top of adding 13 assists and 31 points in his strong all-around efforts.

Men’s Basketball – Offensive Player
Corban University’s Tj Zimmermann was named the CCC Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Zimmermann, a junior forward from Albany, Ore., led the Warriors to a dominant weekend of upsets against No. 22-ranked Oregon Tech (90-70) and Southern Oregon University (79-71). He averaged 22.5 points per game while shooting 59.4 percent from the field and 85.7 percent from the free throw line. He also added seven rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocks against top conference teams.
 
Women’s Basketball – Defensive Player
No. 12-ranked Lewis-Clark State College’s Payton Hymas was named the CCC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.

Hymas, a senior guard from Middleton, Idaho, guided the Warriors defense in two more conference wins against Walla Walla University (111-44) and Warner Pacific University (72-52). She totaled six rebounds and 26 points across both contests on top 10 steals while helping hold both opponents to an average of 48 points per game.

Women’s Basketball – Offensive Player
No. 12-ranked Lewis-Clark State College’s Kendall Wallace was named the CCC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week.

Wallace, a sophomore guard from Clarkston, Wash., led the Warriors in two CCC victories, highlighted by a career-high in points (26), assists (8) and steals (7) in the 111-44 win over Walla Walla University. She averaged 19.5 points per game while shooting an outstanding 69.6 percent from the field and 63.6 from behind the arc across 49 minutes of action.
 
Men's Wrestling – Wrestler
No. 13-ranked University of Providence’s Kobi Johnson was named the CCC Men’s Wrestler of the Week.
 
Johnson (103lbs), a senior from Greeley, Colo., is ranked No. 10 nationally and earned two wins in UP’s weekend wins. He took a 1-0 decision over No. 9-ranked Embry-Riddle’s Jaren Kimura and a 7-3 decision over No. 14-ranked Arizona Christian University’s No. 5 Jason Ramirez for an upset victory.
 
Women's Wrestling – Wrestler
No. 18-ranked The Evergreen State College’s Haley Le was named the CCC Women’s Wrestler of the Week for the second time this season.

Le (138lbs), a sophomore from Portland, Ore., is ranked No. 13 nationally and went 3-2 at the Grand View Open. She earned three unscathed technical falls, including an upset over No. 3 Samantha Barragan from Texas Wesleyan, while falling to NCAA Dl opponents.
 
Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Track Athlete
Southern Oregon University’s Carter Stedman was named the CCC Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Stedman, a junior runner from Roseburg, Ore., had a standout performance at the UNR Wolf Pack Classic. He completed the mile in a time of 4:11.97 to reach a ‘B’ Standard which currently stands as the 14th fastest time in the NAIA this season.

Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Field Athlete
Southern Oregon University’s Carson Le Bel was named the CCC Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Le Bel, a senior from Central Point, Ore., had a terrific performance at the UNR Wolf Pack Classic. He placed third in the pole vault with a mark of 4.90m to reach an ‘A’ Standard and currently hold the No. 2 mark in the NAIA this season. He also now owns the SOU indoor pole vault record.

Women’s Indoor Track & Field – Track Athlete
The Evergreen State College’s Izabelle Trefts was named the CCC Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Trefts, a senior from Milford, Maine, had a dominant all around weekend. She won the 3000m race walk at the Corban Indoor with a time of 13:22.64, reaching an ‘A’ Standard and setting the fastest NAIA time this season by a minute. She then set a personal record in the Mile at the Portland Indoor with a time of 5:38.80.
 
Women’s Indoor Track & Field – Field Athlete
Corban University’s Kayla Morgan was named the CCC Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Morgan, a senior from Sisters, Ore., finished in first place in the high jump with a mark of 1.69m at the Corban Indoor. Her score reached an ‘A’ Standard which currently ties for sixth on the NAIA performance list.
 
Baseball – Player
University of British Columbia’s David Krahn was named the CCC Baseball Player of the Week.
 
Krahn, a sophomore infielder from Langley, B.C., had an outstanding week on the field for the Thunderbirds. He recorded a .550 batting average and a .950 slugging percentage with 11 hits, five doubles and a homerun. He also added 13 RBIs and six runs while earning a .591 on base percentage. He held a .889 fielding percentage to round out his impressive week.

Baseball – Pitcher
University of British Columbia’s James Brock was named the CCC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Brock, a senior from Burnaby, B.C., had a fantastic performance on the mound against Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, leading to a 10-4 victory. He did not allow a run and let up just three hits across five innings while striking out six batters for a perfect ERA and a .80 WHIP.
 
Softball – Player
University of British Columbia’s Clare VanSpall was named the CCC Softball Player of the Week.
 
VanSpall, a senior infielder from Delta, B.C., had an outstanding week on the field for the Thunderbirds. She recorded a .524 batting average and a .714 slugging percentage with 11 hits, two doubles and a triple. She also added three RBIs and three runs while earning a .524 on base percentage. She held a perfect fielding percentage to round out her impressive week.

Softball – Pitcher
Southern Oregon University’s Ayla Davies was named the CCC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Davies, a sophomore from Burns, Ore., had a fantastic week on the mound for the Raiders. She only allowed four earned runs and 12 hits across 20 innings while striking out 21 batters for a 1.40 ERA and a .80 WHIP.
