CCC Men’s Basketball Season Ready to Tip Off

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2022-23 Cascade Collegiate Conference men’s basketball season tips off today with three conference games, beginning a 22-match schedule to determine who will win the regular-season crown and the first of the CCC’s two automatic qualifiers (AQ). The top eight teams in the final standings will also advance to the CCC Men’s Basketball Championship Tournament presented by U.S. Bank, with the other AQ on the line.
 
The College of Idaho was picked to defend its CCC crown and currently leads three CCC teams in the NAIA Rankings, sitting at No. 4 on the latest poll. Oregon Tech and Lewis-Clark State College are each receiving votes on the poll.
   
Bushnell University vs. Corban University | Live Stats | Live Video
Corban University opens the CCC slate on the road coasting two wins, while Bushnell University begins conference action with a 2-2 record, looking to snap a two-game slide. The Warriors come off a tight 85-80 victory over Westmont College. The Beacons look to build off an 86-56 victory over Lewis & Clark College. Corban holds a 48-21 lead in the all-time series, dating back to 1987.
 
Warner Pacific University vs. Multnomah University | Live Stats | Live Video
Multnomah University hosts Warner Pacific University to open conference action and build off its 2-1 overall mark, most recently defeating Willamette University 97-80. The Knights started the year 2-2 and come off a 76-65 victory over Lewis & Clark College. WPU holds a 31-2 upper hand in the all-time series with MU.

Lewis-Clark State College hosts Walla Walla University to start CCC play and remain unbeaten against the Wolves (25-0 all-time). The Warriors (3-3) look to snap a two-game losing streak, dropping both games at the Montana Tech Fall Classic. The Wolves are looking for their first win of the young year, dropping games to Simpson University and the University of Providence.
