CORVALLIS, Ore. – Six of the possible eight spots for the Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, have been snatched up.

Corban University (17-10, 12-7 CCC) def. Walla Walla University (3-23, 2-17 CCC), 75-63
Corban University secured one of the spots in the conference tournament with a 75-63 victory over Walla Walla University. Denis Kirichenko scored a career-high 22 points (10-for-14) to lead the Warriors. For the Wolves, KiAndre Gaddy ended the contest with monster numbers (24 points, 16 rebounds).

Multnomah University (12-14, 8-10 CCC) def. Oregon Tech (19-7, 16-2 CCC), 82-80
Multnomah University picked up its first-ever win over Oregon Tech as Terin Johnson scored a buzzer-beater put-back to lift the Lions 82-80. Multnomah was led by Johnson and Zach Richardson, who scored 19 points apiece. The Hustlin’ Owls had three players in double figures, led by Kaison Faust with 19 points.

Eastern Oregon University (15-12, 9-10 CCC) def. The Evergreen State College (3-20, 3-16 CCC), 74-62
The first half proved enough for Eastern Oregon University as the Mounties grabbed a 74-62 victory over The Evergreen State College. Phillip Malatare led the Mounties with 19 points and added 11 rebounds for a double-double. LaBrandon Price led the Geoducks with 22 points and grabbed four steals.

Lewis-Clark State College (18-9, 11-8 CCC) def. Bushnell University (8-18, 6-13 CCC), 71-60
Lewis-Clark State College battled hard for its third-straight victory, downing Bushnell University 71-60. Khalil Stevenson led the Warriors with 20 points in the contest on 6-of-10 shooting, including 4-for-5 from three-point range. Keishon Dawkins matched the game-high with 20 points for the Beacons and was one rebound shy of a double-double.

Southern Oregon University (15-12, 12-7 CCC) def. Warner Pacific University (14-13, 10-9 CCC), 60-54
Warner Pacific University couldn’t overcome Southern Oregon University, falling 60-54, but still secured a spot in the conference tournament. K’wan Carter finished with 18 points, while Josh Meyer added 17 points and 13 rebounds. Tyrese Yussuf-Willis led the Knights with 13 points (4-for-7).

No. 9 College of Idaho (23-4, 17-2 CCC) def. Northwest University (10-14, 7-12 CCC), 73-61
Ninth-ranked College of Idaho held on tight to its first-place standing with a 73-61 victory over Northwest University, coming back from behind 39-38 at halftime. Ricardo Time led three Coyotes in double figures with 16 points, including sinking seven free throws. CaCoa Chatman led the Eagles with 20 points (7-for-14) and dished out four assists.
