CORVALLIS, Ore. – No. 9-ranked College of Idaho clinched at least a share of the CCC men’s basketball regular-season championship Friday night and has the opportunity to win it outright on Saturday.

No. 9 College of Idaho (25-4, 19-2 CCC) def. Warner Pacific University (14-15, 10-11 CCC), 82-54
No. 9-ranked College of Idaho clinched at least a share of their seventh CCC regular-season title with a wire-to-wire 82-54 victory over Warner Pacific University. Drew Wyman and Johnny Radford each scored 13 points for the Coyotes, while Thomas Miles led the Knights with 10 points.

Oregon Tech (21-8, 18-3 CCC) def. Walla Walla University (4-24, 3-18 CCC), 79-78
Despite trailing by 19 points, Oregon Tech clawed its way back into the contest and steal a 79-78 victory over Walla Walla University. Scotty Burge cashed in a buzzer-beating trey to cap the incredible comeback. He finished with 11 points for the Hustlin’ Owls, who were led by Kellen Gerig with 17 points. Zayne Browning was the top scorer for the Wolves, finishing with 29 points on 11-of-14 shooting.

Lewis-Clark State College (20-9, 13-8 CCC) def. Southern Oregon University (16-13, 13-8 CCC), 72-66
Oreon Courtney scored a career-best 28 points to help Lewis-Clark State College to a key victory over Southern Oregon University. Courtney also grabbed 10 rebounds to post a double-double for the Warriors. K’wan Carter led the Raiders with 21 points.

Corban University (18-11, 13-8 CCC) def. The Evergreen State College (3-22, 3-18 CCC), 64-55
Despite a big effort from The Evergreen State College in the second half, Corban University held on for a 64-55 victory. Kendall Moore led the Warriors with 16 points off the bench on 5-of-10 shooting. Mitch Wetmore scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Geoducks, shooting 8-for-13 from the floor, including 4-for-6 from three-point range.

Eastern Oregon University (17-12, 11-10 CCC) def. Multnomah University (13-16, 9-12 CCC), 80-77
In a close battle, Eastern Oregon University came out on top with an 80-77 victory over Multnomah University. Phillip Malatare led the Mounties with 28 points and 14 rebounds for a double-double. Tyrese Taylor also posted a double-double in the game, scoring 26 points and grabbing 12 rebounds for the Lions.

Bushnell University (9-19, 7-14 CCC) def. Northwest University (10-16, 7-14 CCC), 66-65
Trailing by six with 30 seconds to go, Bushnell University hit a deep three, forced a turnover and made two big free throws before Stevie Schlabach drove in the go-ahead layup at the one-second mark to lift the Beacons to a 66-65 victory over Northwest University. Keishon Dawkins recorded another double-double for the Beacons, with 12 points and 20 rebounds.
CaCoa Chatman led all scorers with 19 points and eight assists on the night for the Eagles.
