CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2025-26 Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball season officially tips off tonight with one matchup on the slate. By Friday, all 11 teams will be in action as the full schedule gets underway. The chase for the CCC regular season title and the first automatic qualifier (AQ) to the NAIA National Tournament begins now. The conference’s second AQ will be awarded to the winner of the CCC Men’s Basketball Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank.
Corban University opens the regular season at home, hosting Bushnell University. The Warriors enter with a 4-3 record and lead the CCC in field goal percentage at 49.9%. Bushnell will start with a 3-4 preseason record. On Thursday, Corban will head to face Warner Pacific University, who also holds a 4-3 mark.
On Friday, the remaining CCC teams take the courts.
Eastern Oregon University has a 4-3 record and will host (RV) Lewis-Clark State College, currently atop the conference at 6-2. LC State boasts the conference’s strongest defense, allowing just 65.9 points per game.
The defending CCC regular season, tournament, and NAIA national champion No. 12-ranked College of Idaho begins conference play at 5-3, hosting Walla Walla University, which is searching for its first win of the season. The Yotes lead the conference in total points (693), points per game (86.6) and total rebounds (43.1).
The Evergreen State College, also looking for its first win, will travel to face No. 22-ranked Oregon Tech on their home court. The Owls start the regular season at 5-3 after reaching the second round of last season’s NAIA Championship.
Southern Oregon University opens CCC play at 2-5, hosting Northwest University, which holds a 2-4 record. Last season, SOU advanced to the second round of the National Championship. Northwest currently leads the CCC in blocks (3.8 per game) and steals (9.5 per game).
With multiple top-tier programs and national contenders, the 2025-26 Cascade Conference Men’s Basketball season is poised to deliver another thrilling year of competition.
