McDonald's Player of the Week, Presented by Urban Edge Network

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The following 14 Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athletes have been recognized as the McDonald's Player of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, for their performances during competition from February 9  – 15, 2026.

Men’s Basketball – Defensive Player
Northwest University’s Andrew Iyamah was named the CCC Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Iyamah, a senior forward from London, England, led the Eagles to two key victories to clinch the final spot in the conference postseason tournament. He totaled 12 rebounds, six blocks and helped secure an upset over No. 22-ranked Lewis-Clark State for the first time in three years.

Men’s Basketball – Offensive Player
Bushnell University’s Cory Johnson was named the CCC Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Johnson, a senior forward from Anaheim, Calif., led the Beacons this weekend. He averaged 28.5 points per game while shooting 55 percent from the field and 83.3 percent from the free throw line. He also added 13 rebounds and four steals in his all-around efforts.
 
Women’s Basketball – Defensive Player
No. 12-ranked Lewis-Clark State College’s Darian Herring was named the CCC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week for the fifth time this season.

Herring, a junior forward from Deer Park, Wash., guided the Warriors defense in two more conference wins against The Evergreen State College (80-40) and Northwest University (98-37). She totaled 21 rebounds and 24 points across both contests on top of seven blocks and four steals in just 42 minutes of action while helping hold both opponents to an average of 38.5 points per game.

Women’s Basketball – Offensive Player
(RV) Corban University’s Jenna Albrecht was named the CCC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week.

Albrecht, a junior guard from Bend, Ore., led the Warriors in two big CCC victories over (RV) College of Idaho (79-65) and No. 14-ranked Eastern Oregon University (72-66). She averaged 19 points per game while shooting an outstanding 73.7 percent from the field and 71.4 percent from behind the arc on top of 12 rebounds and five assists in her well-rounded performances.
 
Men's Wrestling – Wrestler
(RV) The Evergreen State College’s Horacio Godinez was named the CCC Men’s Wrestler of the Week.
 
Godinez (141lbs), a sophomore from Toppenish, Wash., earned a pin in the Geoducks dual against Linfield University to complete the regular season with a 30-3 record.
 
Women's Wrestling – Wrestler
No. 3-ranked University of Providence’s Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp was named the CCC Women’s Wrestler of the Week for the second time this season.

Estrella-Beauchamp (131lbs), a senior from Kahului, Hawaii, is ranked No. 2 nationally and went undefeated at the Firestorm Open. She earned three pins and a technical fall, all under 30 seconds, spending just over one minute total on the mat across her four victories Friday.
 
Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Track Athlete
Corban University’s Jack Gladfelter was named the CCC Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Gladfelter, a junior runner from Port Angeles, Wash., had a standout performance at the Husky Classic. He completed the 5000m in a time of 14:11.21 to reach a ‘A’ Standard with the third fastest time in the NAIA this season. The mark shattered his personal best and set a new program indoor record.

Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Field Athlete
Bushnell University’s Kaleo Wellman was named the CCC Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Wellman, a junior from Lebanon, Ore., had a terrific performance at the Whitworth Invitational. He placed first in the long jump with a mark of 7.27m to reach an ‘A’ Standard and currently holds the No. 13 mark in the NAIA this season.

Women’s Indoor Track & Field – Track Athlete
Eastern Oregon University’s Riley Morris was named the CCC Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Morris, a senior runner from Burns, Ore., delivered a dominant performance at the Husky Classic. She hit the ‘A’ standard in the mile with a time of 4:53.34, currently ranking No. 4 in the NAIA, while setting both a personal best and a new program record.
 
Women’s Indoor Track & Field – Field Athlete
Corban University’s Kayla Morgan was named the CCC Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Morgan, a senior from Sisters, Ore., yet again finished in first place in the high jump with a mark of 1.72m at the Whitworth Invitational. Her score reached an ‘A’ Standard which is currently third on the NAIA performance list on top of a personal and program indoor record.
 
Baseball – Player
Lewis-Clark State College’s Bryce Johnson was named the CCC Baseball Player of the Week.
 
Johnson, a senior outfielder from Bellingham, Wash., had an outstanding week on the field for the Warriors. He recorded a .615 batting average and a 1.000 slugging percentage with eight hits, two doubles and a homerun. He also added 10 RBIs and five runs while earning a .706 on base percentage. He held a perfect fielding percentage to round out his impressive week.

Baseball – Pitcher
Bushnell University’s Austin Wolfe was named the CCC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Wolfe, a junior from Beaverton, Ore., had a fantastic performance on the mound against Saint Martin’s (WA), leading to a 9-1 victory. He did not allow a run and let up just one hit across seven innings while striking out nine batters for a perfect ERA and a .43 WHIP.
 
Softball – Player
Simpson University’s Brianna Lopez-Cortez was named the CCC Softball Player of the Week.
 
Lopez-Cortez, a senior infielder from Reno, Nev., had an outstanding opening week on the field for the Red Hawks. She recorded a .571 batting average and a .952 slugging percentage with 12 hits, five doubles and a homerun. She also added 12 RBIs and three runs while earning a .625 on base percentage. She held a .792 fielding percentage to round out her impressive week.

Softball – Pitcher
University of British Columbia’s Carleen Murray was named the CCC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Murray, a senior from White Rock, B.C., had a fantastic week on the mound for the Thunderbirds. She only allowed two earned runs across 29.2 innings while striking out an impressive 41 batters for a .47 ERA and a .78 WHIP.
