McDonald's Player of the Week, Presented by Urban Edge Network

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The following 13 Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athletes have been recognized as the McDonald's Player of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, for their performances during competition from February 16  – 22, 2026.

Men’s Basketball – Defensive Player
No. 22-ranked Lewis-Clark State College’s John Lustig was named the CCC Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Lustig, a senior guard from Colfax, Wash., led the Warriors to clinch the top seed in the CCC Championship tournament. He recorded 18 rebounds and two blocks while adding 37 points in 55 minutes of action, helping hold opponents to an average of 64.5 points per game.

Men’s Basketball – Offensive Player
Bushnell University’s Cory Johnson was named the CCC Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.
 
Johnson, a senior forward from Anaheim, Calif., was dominant for the Beacons in the final regular season weekend. He averaged 30.5 points per game while shooting 49 percent from the field and 81.8 percent from the free throw line. He also added 21 rebounds and two steals in his all-around efforts.
 
Women’s Basketball – Defensive Player
(RV) College of Idaho’s Riley Beck was named the CCC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week for the fifth time this season.

Beck, a freshman forward from Meridian, Idaho, guided the Yotes to two final regular season wins to secure the No. 4 seed in the CCC Championship tournament. She totaled 12 rebounds, four blocks, and four steals in just 50 minutes of action while helping hold both opponents to an average of 54.5 points per game.

Women’s Basketball – Offensive Player
(RV) College of Idaho’s Kylie Waltermeyer was named the CCC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week.

Waltermeyer, a junior forward from Tumwater, Wash., led the Yotes to two final regular season wins to secure the No. 4 seed in the CCC Championship tournament. She averaged 21.5 points per game while shooting an outstanding 65.2 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from behind the arc on top of 13 rebounds and three blocks in her well-rounded performances.
 
Beach Volleyball – Pair
No. 2-ranked Corban University’s Emmi Marks and Emma Bischoff were named the CCC Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week.

The senior and junior duo recorded three wins while hosting NCAA teams this weekend. They defeated opponents from University of Portland (21-9, 26-24), Sacramento State University (21-13, 21-18), and Chaminade University (21-18, 21-17), all in two sets. Currently, they are undefeated at 7-0 this season.
 
Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Track Athlete
Lewis-Clark State College’s Kobe Wessels was named the CCC Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Wessels, a senior runner from Lewiston, Idaho, had a standout performance at the EOU Last Chance meet. He completed the 1000m in a time of 2:26.80 to reach a ‘B’ Standard and finish in first place while reaching the eighth fastest time in the NAIA this season.

Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Field Athlete
Lewis-Clark State College’s Trenton Johnson was named the CCC Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Johnson, a senior jumper from Nampa, Idaho, had a terrific performance at the EOU Last Chance meet. He placed first in the triple jump with a mark of 14.57m to reach a ‘B’ Standard and set the facility and program record.

Women’s Indoor Track & Field – Track Athlete
Lewis-Clark State College’s Madigan Kelly was named the CCC Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Kelly, a senior runner from Lewiston, Idaho, delivered a dominant performance at the EOU Last Chance meet. She hit the ‘B’ standard to win the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.63, currently ranking No. 7 in the NAIA while setting a facility record.
 
Baseball – Player
Bushnell University’s Dylan Carson was named the CCC Baseball Player of the Week.
 
Carson, a senior outfielder from Eugene, Ore., had an outstanding CCC opening week on the field for the Beacons. He recorded a .500 batting average and a 1.438 slugging percentage with eight hits. He also added 12 RBIs and six runs while earning a .529 on base percentage. He hit five homeruns, four of which in one game to break the CCC record. Carson also broke program records for home runs, RBIs, and total bases, while tying the marks for hits and runs scored. He now leads the NAIA with nine home runs and ranks fourth nationally with 26 RBIs. He held a perfect fielding percentage to round out his impressive week.

Baseball – Pitcher
Corban University’s Robert Hays Jr. was named the CCC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Hays, a junior from Bozeman, Mont., had a fantastic performance on the mound against Oregon Tech, leading to a 3-0 victory. He did not allow a run and let up just two hits across nine innings while striking out three batters for a perfect ERA and a .44 WHIP.
 
Softball – Player
Southern Oregon University’s Vanessa Lang was named the CCC Softball Player of the Week.
 
Lang, a senior infielder from Tracy, Calif., had an outstanding week on the field for the Raiders. She recorded a .429 batting average and a .536 slugging percentage with 12 hits and three doubles. She also added seven RBIs and five runs while earning a .469 on base percentage. She held a perfect fielding percentage to round out her impressive week.

Softball – Pitcher
Southern Oregon University’s Ayla Davies was named the CCC Softball Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season.

Davies, a sophomore from Burns, Ore., had a fantastic week on the mound for the Raiders. She struck out 21 batters in 30.2 innings for a 2.51 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP.
